Steph and Tucker- 3 legged GSD
These are just some fun photos... Heidi was out of a litter that I rescued. 2 of the pups became SAR dogs... I was supposed to keep this one, but someone came along and saw the potential she had in her, now she has her Companion Dog Cert. and is being certified in SAR, and is a therapy dog, which she discovered all on her own...her owner has a brain tumor and Heidi lets him know just before he has a major headache that it is coming on...so he can take meds before it gets too bad...she is now a gorgeous dog too. The other photo, I got caught falling asleep on the couch. Tucker the 3 legged rescue dog decided to join me...He lost his leg as a 3 month old pup, came to me with his growth plate broken, it was pinned but the people didn't keep him confined so it rebroke and wouldn't heal. We had to have it amputated and now you would never know he didn't have a leg. He ran and played and swam in the pond with Ruger the Mal, more photos later...A wonderful family in Wyoming adopted this tripod dog and he is doing great...
